Nam’s Story

Site created on February 13, 2023

Hello Family & Friends –

We wanted to update everyone about Nam’s condition. On Sunday, February 5th, Adianna brought Nam to the ER at St. John’s in the early morning as he was feeling some stomach pain. We were not aware of how severe his condition was until he was diagnosed with severe Pancreatitis, along with other medical conditions.  He was transferred to the ICU that following Monday and has been there since. He was intubated on Tuesday to relieve his body of stress and give it the rest it needs in order to recover. Please keep Nam in your thoughts and prayers as he continues to battle for his life. Adianna and his sister, Thien, has been in and out of the hospital watching over him since Sunday. They’ve been doing all the heavy lifting, talking to numerous doctors and nurses, keeping the rest of his family informed of every progress, and just being there with him. We will continue to keep everyone updated, so please send your kind thoughts and prayers on here instead of reaching out directly. We understand that you want to show your support, but we also want to continue to focus on Nam without being overwhelmed with having to reply to everyone. We thank you for your understanding, love, and support. Below is the timeline on Nam’s condition. Praying that we will end it with Nam recovering well, and getting to go home to spend quality time with his family!

Thank you,

Nam's Fam

P.S. We are not medical professionals, so we are interpreting the medical diagnosis to the best of your abilities!
