Today, hot and sticky with a chance of perception deception. Today was a really good day. Today, his letter that he has been waiting on for months now has finally arrived. After being released from his physicians' care and passing his DOT physical some weeks back, he finally received what he has been waiting on. The State's letter giving him the approval to take a drivers test to see if he can drive once again. Once he passes this test, he will be going back to driving OTR. This is so unheard of and the looks he gets from people when he tells them his story...priceless. One step closer to being fully independent again. Maybe I should start him a cheerleading squad?
