I am here to share my journey to show people they are not alone. And to help me with my mental health, sharing what I go through helps me cope, and helps me realize I am truly loved and cared for.

Journal entry by Makenna Davis

Today is my first day writing my first journal. So, to start. I am going to tell you all that I am going through, and what I have.
1. I have Endometriosis, which is a chronic disease in my ovaries. That I have to get a surgery every year to remove the endo that grows back in my ovaries and other parts of my body.
2. I have Neurology disorders. I have a disease in my face, called Trigeminal Neuralgia. Which is also a chronic condition, Where the left side of my face is numb, and sends electric like shocks though my face. It affects the 5th cranial nerve in my brain.
3. Which is also brings me to my next sickness. IBS. Also known as Spastic Colitis, where my colon basically contracts, and causes me to have chronic diarrhea, constipation, gas, bloating, and severe pain. It affects the large intestine.
4. I also have Malabsorption Syndrome. Which is another chronic condition, that prevents absorption of nutrients through the small intestine. So anything that I eat, my body doesn't absorb the nutrients it needs. Which includes proteins, carbs, fats and vitamins and minerals will not be absorbed. So because of this, not only is my stomach affected. But so can nervous system, my brain, my liver, bones, and other organs of the body.
5. I have Tachycardia. Which is just a rapid heart rate. Where my heart rate always stay over 100bpm. Which causes severe chest pain, and difficulty to breathe. And exercise can make it a lot worse.
6. I have scar tissue on my lungs. Another chronic issue. I few years ago I had really bad pneumonia. And because of that it damaged my lungs, and now have scar tissue on my lungs forever. Which makes it really difficult to breathe. And I have to be on a breathing treatment and inhalers to help me breathe.
7. Now I'm hoping this is my last sickness, we don't know what it is, or what's going on yet. But I am going to another doctors appointment to hopefully get more info on what she thinks. I am getting a surgery for this too hopefully soon. I'll keep you updated, and let you know once I get more details and my next steps.
I really appreciate you willing and wanting to learn about me. It means so much to me. And please feel free to send me Well Wishes. It would mean the word to me.
Until next time!
