Newest Update

Journal entry by Sandy Allphin

Good Afternoon,

I hope this finds everyone feeling blessed during this Christmas week.  My Christmas was spent with family, we enjoyed spending time together both Christmas eve and day.  It's amazing how time with loved ones, especially   granddaughters, can make one forget aches, pains and ailments.  I am so lucky to have such a loving family!

Just a short update to let you know my current status.  The last 10 days after my first chemo has gone well, less side effects than anticipated and I feel there is improvement in my cancer.  There are so many stigmas attached to chemo, nausea/vomiting, aches, pains, and general misery; fortunately, none of these were my experience!

My next chemo is in 11 days, I can't wait.  As strange as it sounds, I'm ready to tackle this and move on.  Please keep me, my doctors and nurses in your prayers.  God is by my side, with him, anything is possible!

Happy New Year and God Bless,
Sandy
