She is making great strides in moving around the house with her walker. She saw home PT today for the first time, who coached her in walking laps around the kitchen and with leg exercises. The PT instructor commented that she was impressed with how much Monica was able to do in spite of her condition. Once in a while she feels too weak and tired to walk around, but thankfully that is not as often as it was in the hospital.
She continues to deal with intermittent nausea and intestinal cramping, but is consistently able to eat small portions of soft foods. She is not able to eat enough to get off of her IV nutrition yet, but she is making slow progress.
Her nights are less interrupted than they were while in the hospital, which is a big relief to her.
Continuing to pray for more recovery and progress every day. God bless you all and God bless her, too!
