Happy Fourth of July and thanks for hanging in there with us. 

Monica saw her Dr last Thursday and is cleared to drive(!) and start PT. Her incisions are mostly healed and she is walking well. The insides are still healing so she needs to take it easy and rest a lot. She finally slept through the night in her bed instead of the recliner. She takes care of her ADLs and now has a baby robin to care for as well. I thought this surgery would be harder than the neck surgery but it has been easier. I’m signing off of Caring Bridge.
