Thank you for your love and prayers. Mom is continuing to have moments of improvement and regaining of strength (both in physicality and will!). There are days when she regresses but her caregivers say this is common for stroke survivors. We remain hopeful that mom can and will regain effective speech and language comprehension. 

Your cards have meant so much to mom and to us. Please continue to communicate with Mona via mail. Note that mom is unable to respond at this time with clarity of thought and clear communication but know without a doubt she appreciates every note, prayer and act of kindness and love!

At this time we are asking that all visits be scheduled in advance. “Drop ins” are not working well for her daily schedule. If you would like to visit mom, please contact us so that we can make sure that mom is ready and expecting your visit.

You will never know how much we appreciate you and how much mom truly loves you. These are challenging days but our Lord loves the challenges we face because we need Him more!
