"You will soon receive an unusual gift." 

A few days after we left the hospital, mom and I shared some chineese food at the house we were staying at in Atlanta. When I broke open the fortune cookie, this is what it read. I smirked and turned it toward my mom saying "I'd say a kidney is a pretty usual gift." 

I think its safe to say our whole family recieved an usual gift this month. The amount of love everyone around us has shown us is pretty incredible and I just wanted to thank you all for support during my moms transplant. 

Though both my mom and Blane are still on a path to post-surgery recovery, we are humbled by the care that surrounds us.
