It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news that Molly Holt passed about an hour ago, early morning in Korea. Molly has bravely battled multiple myeloma for several years, but it did not prevent her from continuing her life’s work on behalf of homeless children, and of course with the residents at the Ilsan Center for whom she was their only family.

Molly has been in Severance Hospital in Seoul and had been planning to go home to Ilsan in the next few days. As her sister Linda said, “She did not make it home.” For Molly, “home” was at Ilsan, the orphanage built by her father, Harry Holt, and where she had lived since graduating from nursing school.

Molly’s family will be making arrangements and we will share the information as it becomes available. Please keep Molly and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
