Mollie’s Story

Site created on January 8, 2024

Mollie was rushed to the hospital on Friday, January 5, 2024 after having a severe seizure. After many hours of testing, she was diagnosed with a disease called Moyamoya Disease. This is a chronic illness that narrows the blood vessels to the brain. It is most common among Asian women, but can affect anyone. With proper surgery and medication, this can be treated.
Mollie will need several sessions of treatment, doctor visits, and possibly physical therapy. There's still a lot we don't know, but we do know she and her husband will have a long road ahead of them. They have all the support and love from their families and friends. There has also been a Go Fund Me page created for her, so please consider donating!

I will post updates on here as often as I get them. Thank you all for your continued support, prayers, and donations. It is so much appreciated by Jake, my family, and his!

Her surgery went well and she is currently resting in recovery. 🤍 A huge thank you for all of your prayers and uplifting thoughts and encouragement for her! We are unsure of when her second surgery will be. As of now, the main focus is her recovery and letting her body get the rest she needs.
You did it, Mollie. We love you! ❤️‍🩹
