Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
Missy contracted COVID in December and was airlifted to Duke in early January to be placed on ECMO. She has been on life support since early January and continues the fight to beat this terrible virus. Marianne (mom) is starting this site in order to provide updates to all that love and are praying for her recovery.

Journal entry by Tammy Allison —

Friday.. therapy just finished with her. She stood up 2 times. About a minute and a half each time , lifted each leg 5 times each took 3 steps side to side. Controlled her breathing much better today. Not nauseated  now...she got meds for that before hand, so that was great.  She is awake wand watching tv right now
