Miriam’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.


2021 has not started the way that we would have liked.  Shortly after Christmas mom started not feeling well.  After a visit to the doctor and some medication, we hoped she was on the mend. However, she still wasn't feeling well and ended up in the ER where the doctors started running tests.  These tests determined that mom's cancer had returned and with her being so weak, there weren't many options for immediate treatment. We have since learned that the cancer is too much for mom to battle and on Tuesday,  February 9th, she entered into the Hospice House in Luverne, MN.  Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers as we navigate through this difficult time.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Mom passed away last night. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Worthington with family present, Funeral is Saturday at 10:30, with visitation prior at St. Matthews Lutheran Church.
