Journal entry by Laura Johnson —
Hi There Friends,
A short update on Mindy and her progress! She has been home and continuing rehab. The next big step she will be taking is surgery this coming week for acromioclavicular (AC) joint separation. When Mindy was in the accident, it misplaced her clavicle and is causing problems with her shoulder. Mindy said that thankfully the clavicle did not break, which I am sure was a relief. Her surgery is to fix the clavicle and her shoulder injury. She will have about 6 weeks of immobilization for the shoulder and there is more rehab along the way . Mindy is trusting that all will run smoothly and she will remain strong throughout and continue to heal.
There are some days for June on the meal train link below if you feel moved to be of service.
