Mimi’s Story

Site created on December 22, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. I am using this site to keep family and friends updated in one place. I appreciate all your support and words of hope, encouragement and positive quotes or good funny jokes! Please do not donate on this page as there is no need to. I just don't know how to remove the "Donate to CaringBridge".
I'm using this page as my journey for those that want to know how I am doing. Feel free to share it with others.

Thank you for visiting. Text me if you want. I really don't mind. It will be a good distraction when I'm in Chemo!

I am blessed beyond words.

Love you all,
Mimi

Journal entry by Mimi Tran

I had a meeting with my oncology Marissa a P.A. about a week ago. She mentioned all is good with bloodwork. Almost back to normal. She then said that there was a small spot in my lungs that they are watching. Nothing to be worried about. Well, with all these PPP loans and working from home. I set aside my feeling until now. It’s 4:00 am and I seem to not sleep. What the heck does Marissa mean?  Should I be worried or just not let it bother me?

With the news of Laura Wassef passing on Saturday hit me hard. So many different emotions going through my head. I think the best thing I can do is help people who need help through work!  I have made it my goal to help those that cannot help themselves during these times.

Covid 19 is so humbling. The great news is I have the love of my family here at home with me.

Be safe out there!

Love,

MT
