Miles Warner’s Story

Site created on January 31, 2024

Miles felt sick with flu like symptoms that got kinda bad. Monday afternoon, 1/30/24, a casual visit to the ER for saline bag and meds turned into our worst nightmare. Ambulance to cooks children. Procedure to add a central line to allow for more meds to administer ended with cardiac arrest three times in a row. WORST MOMENT OF MY LIFE.
He’s now on a heart bypass machine and a ventilator with myocarditis.
Please Please pray that his heart becomes stronger. That is blood pressure returns to normal. Russell and I are beyond comprehension and sadness. We don’t need anything really, juts lots of prayers.
My sweet baby Miles 💔🫀

Happy Monday

Miles had his follow up cardiology appointment this morning in Dallas.  He is fully off of all pain meds and sedation meds.  He is on a total of 4 heart medications to help with blood pressure and HR as well as healing/resting his heart.

His labs were all good, vitals good, blood pressure a bit low but he is doing well with where it is at.   He is able to move as much as he can comfortably and go on walks etc, so hoping he will push a little harder physically over the next few weeks as he is able.

Miles heart function has not changed much but not a shock really due to the short time frame from his last echo.  Also miles is continuing to lose weight.

we have a follow up in 2 weeks and hope and pray he will eat more and gain weight.   Also that his heart would continue to improve and he would be back to 100%.

please join us in continued prayer for Gods timing and plan for mile’s nutrition and his heart.  He is doing so well and are so thankful.  He just really needs to get some weight back on him.

but hey what a great problem to have.  He can eat whatever whenever but just needs to do it.   Candy and ice cream all day. 😂😂
