We are in the process of transferring care to Cook Children’s in Ft. Worth. This will allow us to receive chemo in San Angelo for Miles’ outpatient chemo regimen. We are relieved and excited to be home more and keep our family together.
Unfortunately Miles ANC count is very low so he is unable to receive his chemo until his count is at least at 750. Please say a prayer that his count goes up before Thursday so we can continue treatment.
Since the diagnosis we have been on an emotional roller coaster and have prayed for guidance and understanding. Thank you to all our friends and family for checking in on us and bringing food and gifts and all the support.
Miles is so happy to be home with Max and Maggie. Max starts school Wednesday at Ft. Concho he is very nervous and so am I! I know he will have so much fun, but he is upset that I won’t be there to drop him off or pick him up after Wednesday. Please say a little prayer for comfort for Max it will make a difference to him to know we are all praying for him too.
I will try to update the site more and put some pictures up, thanks for reading!
