Mike has been working very hard learning to walk with a walker, to dress himself and strengthen his body. He has keep a positive mental attitude during this unexpected journey. 

Today Mike  graduated from residential Physical and Occupational therapies.  He received a certificate of completion with congratulatory acknowledgment from his care team.  A touching moment for sure (See photo in gallery).

The next chapter begins tomorrow as he moves to his Sister-in-Law, Connie's single level home in Plymouth.  He has another TRIA appointment on Monday, which will give us more information on his healing progression.  He will also begin in home physical therapy in the coming week.

His pain/discomfort is being well managed, however he tires from increased activity and caring for himself. 

No doubt there are new challenges on the horizon.  Mike will continue to persevere with  courage and gumption!
