Today, Mike received some wonderful and very comforting news. His tissue biopsy sample did not match any circulating DNA in his blood stream meaning there is no evidence of cancer in his body or it’s too low to detect (hopefully the first one). This means there is no reason to do more chemotherapy at this point ❤️🙏 we were so relieved!!  Dr. Tsai felt pretty confident what they saw on his last scan was a fluid pocket since she visualized the small bowel and mesentry during surgery (where the fluid pocket was located). I guess its pretty common post op to have a fluid pocket form. It caused us to hold our breath, but now we can breath again a huge sigh of relief. Mike will have his next follow-up scan in February.
