Hi all,

Shortly after my journal post last night, Mike passed.  We are feeling relief that Mike does not have to suffer any longer.  There will be a hole in our hearts forever as he will be dearly missed.  It still feels shocking that he went so quickly but for Mike, it was a good thing!  Mitch and I stayed up last night and had a toast to Mike and had Alexa play music that Mike would have liked.

Mitch and I are meeting with Westgor Funeral Home in Neenah today.  Mike’s wish was to be buried at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King so that is what will happen.  I think we will have a graveside service for family now with a Celebration of Life sometime this summer or fall when the COVID conditions are hopefully better.  I will try to let all of you know about the Celebration of Life in case you are interested in attending.

As painful as this experience has been, we have felt the love and support of so many and we will be forever grateful for having YOU in our lives!!!!  Endless thanks to you all!
