Blessings, to all my family, friends, co-workers and pray chain friends.  I hope this email finds you all with warm thoughts during these cold winter days.  After 2 years of updating you on this caring bridge site of my medical condition, I will be closing it down; 😉 

Today I met with my oncologist to review my most recent MRI.  Overall, we received a positive report and one we wish to see going forward.  The scan was similar to my last two prior scans, with no signs of tumor growth or enhancement growth from the existing tumor.  What this means is I do not have to start out 2022 like I did 2021 with chemo treatments.  To be cautious we will have another MRI done in March.  As most of you know, most individuals with this cancer don't make it past 2 years;  Thus, the need to continue MRI's for the foreseeable future.  (It never disappears in it's entirety, but if it stays hidden for many years to come I can live with that....

The question that may cross your mind is "why" did Mike make it past that 2 year mark.  For me, that answer is easy, and should also be for you, as YOU all made it happen.  🙏  The prayer's to the Holy Trinity (God the father, Jesus the son and the gift of the holy spirit) all impacted where I am at today.  My ask is to please continue doing what you are doing.  Marilyn and I are always available if you wish an update on how things are going.

In closing I want every one of you to know how 'Humbled' I am to have you in my life.  My  spirit has been overflowing with your prayers and many times I have felt them deep into my soul.  It's one of the most amazing feelings a person can have.  A little prelude to what we have to look forward to in heaven.  "God is Kind & Merciful" Amen............
