It has been 23 days since Mike left us. I want to say "Thank you" all for the special messages, cards, flowers, meals and prayers we have received over the past months and during our Celebration of Life for Mike. Our family cannot express the amount of gratitude we feel toward each of you. You have made a difference in our lives over the past 20 months and we have been blessed with your kindness and love.
Our days continue to be filled with emptiness and sadness mixed with special memories yet thankful that Mike is no longer sick and in pain. We know that our Lord has embraced Michael with unending joy and healing and that one day we will be together again.   
Thank you again for your continued prayers and support for all of Mike's family. I am working on my written Thank you's and promise that it should not take too long before I get them all out.
