Almost five months ago, our family received news that we are all too familiar with. Papa was diagnosed with cancer and the unanswered questions were making us fear the worst. Through the power of prayer, thoughts being continuously lifted it up by all of you, and by His grace we have persevered. This last Tuesday, we received news that is nothing short of amazing: PAPA IS CANCER FREE!!!! The family would like to thank all of you for remaining in our corner throughout this whole journey and praying with us. We are all overwhelmed with the amount of support and love we have received from you all. Every one of you are an incredible blessing and we will never be able to thank you enough. Papa has also written a few words for you all below.

It is difficult to express my overwhelming gratitude to all those that have communicated their love and concern for my welfare since we started this site.  Last Tuesday my oncologist, as a result of Monday’s PET scan, declared that I was cancer free and in total remission! This is incredibly good news!  I truly believe this in large part is the result of the thoughts and prayers given to my Lord from all of you.  I thank each and every one of you.  I would also like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff that have been and continue to be so professional and caring to me.  I will continue to go through the chemotherapy to ensure any remaining cancer cells are destroyed.  I am over the halfway point and it’s downhill the rest of the way.  I would like to thank my wife of 47 years Joyce who insisted that I get the MRI last April that discovered the cancer.  Without her love and care I do not know what would have become of me.  I would lastly like to thank my fantastic granddaughter Neena for playing the major role in administering this site.  May God bless each and every one of you.
