Hello everyone.

As I sit here typing this message Mike has become very ill and has been diagnosed with colon cancer for the THIRD time.  We learned this week that he has a large tumor in the section of colon that he has remaining from the last surgery.  The tumor is causing a significant obstruction which is very painful.  He is scheduled for surgery May 2nd at Upstate in Syracuse.  They will remove the majority of what is left of his colon and do some genetic testing to determine if further treatment is required.  He will likely be at Upstate for 5-7 days.

We will know more about his prognosis once as next week progresses.  He had a PET scan yesterday to determine if the cancer has spread anywhere else.  Once we have anymore information we will let you know.

As of today, we are just keeping a low profile and trying to keep him comfortable until he can get to surgery.  Your thoughts a prayers are welcome.

When Mike was ill before I know folks wanted to bring food but right now Mike can't really eat.  So, please just send prayers and positive thoughts for Mike.
