Hello friends,

As I have begun the process of sending thank you cards I noticed many people did not provide a mailing address in Mike’s guest book.

Of course we want to thank everyone personally for your generosity, stories and kind words during our time of grief. But, being part of a law enforcement family we understand and respect your request for privacy.

Please know that we thank you from the bottom of our hearts - all the donations to the family, Cancer Society and USA Hockey Foundation were an amazing testament to the man Mike was and how many people he touched every day. We can’t begin to tell you how many people commented on his smile and the happiness and joy he brought to you. Mike brought the same joy and light to our family and the world is not the same without him in it.

It is a guarantee that he is giving the angels a ration of grief for not providing him some defense :). Although he doesn’t have one of his Miska masks we are sure he has already found the next best thing and has it all decked out to respect all the things he loved - his country, law enforcement and family.
