He is doing well and currently recovering. However they couldn't do the Whipple. The tumor extended too far down his colon and removal would have lead to poor quality of life. So, they didn’t remove anything. On the bright side, it looks like the cancer is completely dead. They took some biopsies to make sure. We don't know when those results will be back.
We don't know much more than that. His recovery will be shorter, and they will continue to monitor for cancer.
