Things are going pretty good he has his diabetes mellitus and diabetes insipidus pretty well under control. Mike just got his drivers license back but he has to have someone in the car with him . He was diagnosed just this past month with sleep apnea so now he has a machine that helps him breathe at night. He finished one of his memory loss programs called CRP at the courage center but he is still in the Raise program at the courage center MWF. He is starting vocational training and testing. With in the next month we have a few more doctors appointments plus a brain MRI so updates will be posted then. If you have any questions feel free to ask. We also wanted to thank you again for all your love and support!

Newest Update

Journal entry by Shoshana Anderson-Boyce

We are so proud of Mike! So today was the first day back at work for mike in 3 months . He is only doing only a half day one day a week at work. He came home tired and memory fuzzy. The nursing came out to check him out, he just over did it. Since the beginning he has lost 50lbs so he has to drink boost twice a day. Mikes new body temp is 95 which his doctor said is his new normal. The only thing we are having issues with is keeping his blood pressure up. Mom is premently off the wound vac since it gives her an infection. We are still an year out from full healing because she can't be on the wound vac. So we just wet pack the wound. Between mom and Mike we have nursing 4 days a week.

I'm finally off probation at work (taking too much time off). Thanks to josh keeping me from freaking out at work. I guess the blessing of probation at work I have good hours 830 to 4 and then I pick up at my other job. We are still taking it day by day.
