I just want to give a quick update on mom and dad. Dad had his feeding tube put in last week at the VA hospital. They like to do that process early on, so he has it when it becomes necessary. Dad has zoom meetings with the VA hospital, and then I believe he goes down to the hospital every 3 months to see all of the specialists in person.

Mom started her first round of chemotherapy on July 9th. All I can is my mother is the strongest woman I have ever known. She has had her bouts of fatigue on some nauseousness but not much else. She met with her oncologist last week for blood work, and he is very pleased with her white blood cell count (cancer fighting cells). She goes in for round 2 of chemo on Wednesday July 29th. All prayers welcome!! I do have to say that watching both of my parents go through this shows how strong their love for each other is, and it also shows their strong faith in God. It is amazing to watch.
