Hey friends and family! Quick update. Mickey is doing so much better than to be expected. The infusions are working. Her balance is getting better, her sight is slowly coming back. Physical therapy is working to help her with walking and balance. Her next infusion will be in six months then every six months after that for life.
I have to share this, to give you a little perspective. Each infusion would cost her $48,000. Thank god she has insurance. However we are still working on getting her STD approved, after 3 months we are still fighting to get it approved. If they deny her she could loose her insurance. The other fight we are having is getting SSDI approved. That might be a long shot! But I won’t give up.
