Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting! Calling all Prayer Warriors... On December 23rd I got some not so great news...I've got to get my pink boxing gloves out again to battle the BIG C. I'm not going to lie this is hard...especially sharing here and because the last few years have been hard dealing with my son being diagnosed with Epilepsy and just dealing with the day to day that comes with that. I feel very vulnerable...but I also feel called to ask and make a stand with fellow believers because I KNOW GOD is BIGGER than any sickness or disease. I am a huge believer in Prayer...I have a PET scan tomorrow and an MRI next week...please pray.. And pray for my family, the doctors and nurses. Update: The diagnosis was stage 3 cervical cancer. There is a tumor the size of a golf ball, a Lymph node in the pelvis and something showing cancerous also in my neck. A lot of appointments and a decisions to be made I know God knows and he has a plan... he is bigger than all of this. Please help us pray for peace and discernment for us, family and the medical teams. I believe God is a God of miracles and healing...that he may show his mighty love, greatness, power and mercy. There have been many verses shared for my family and we love them all...but one stood out to us all the most right now for many reasons. EXODUS 14:14 "The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent." THANK YOU for your continued prayers!! I LOVE YOU ALL!! Update: I am doing external radiation everyday and I also do chemo 1 time a week at MN Oncologyin Coon Rapids. This will continue for 5 weeks and I am currently on week 3. Then I will have a small break and then will continue internal radiation for 2.5 weeks at Abbott. Update: On February 13th I received AMAZING news!!! I had a scan done earlier on my neck and went to Mayo where we found out PRAISE THE LORD, there was no cancer in my neck!!! Thank you SO much!!!! It means more than you know!!! God is good...ALL the time...it is his nature!
