On April 13th, Mom had a knee replacement. On April 23rd, she was taken to UC West Chester after suffering from respiratory failure. She contracted a staph infection from her knee replacement. She remained in the ICU at UC WC for five weeks. On May, 24th, she was transported to Drake for rehab. Her physical condition deteriorated and she was sent back to UC WC on June 3rd. As she continues to fight for recovery, we will use this site to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
