Well, I have been a little remiss in keeping up to date with my chemo journey but the 6th round came & went without a hitch! The Doctor decided that carboplatin was the culprit for sending me to the ER the last time and omitted it this time around and even though I was on high anxiety alert I survived without any problems. Thank you Lord!!! I still continue with herceptin infusions every 3 weeks till April & my doctor has assured me its like "water". So last Friday was my first time getting just the herceptin and, as promised, I didn't miss a beat and back to work! Got my surgery date for the lumpectomy which is 9/25. So I'm seeing light at the end of this journey.
