Journal entry by Hannah Kramer —
Hi all,
It’s Michele. I’ve just returned from my neurosurgeon follow-up appointment. It seems I have moved from the subacute phase of my healing to the long-term phase. I’m in good shape to return from FMLA leave next month. I will need to continue to monitor my level of concentration for signs of a headache that lets me know when I’ve reached the limit of my brain exercising and may continue to have headaches for a year. It’s hard to believe, though, that it has been only 8 weeks since I started this journey.

Thank all of you for your prayers and support energetically, verbally, and physically. I incorporated your support in a short keynote speech last week at the Sigma Theta Tau chapter induction ceremony. Words can never convey what this has meant to me and my healing. Hugging you the next time I see you will have to suffice. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Patients and caregivers love hearing from you; add a comment to show your support.
