Michael Stuart Ney, from Haymarket, Virginia, passed away on January 22, 2021.  Michael was 76 years old and born on December 14, 1944 in New York City to Rosalind (deceased) and Milton Ney (deceased). He is the Husband of the love of his life Donna (Gilmore), brother of Raymond (deceased); loving father of Ashley and Stephanie Barbour (Ney); son-in-law Ikeeia; and grandfather to Treyden and Tey.  He is also survived by many cousins. Mike was a proud class of 66’ graduate from William and Mary and loved keeping in touch with his Fraternity brothers and many former work colleagues. Everyone who met Mike would describe him as funny and kind man.  His love of animals was incredible, there was not a dog walking by that he would not pet.  In honor of Mike”s memory, and in lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Middleburg Humane Foundation: www.middleburghumane.org.
