Mike was involved in an accident where he was struck by an SUV , the afternoon of September 7th.  He has remained in the ICU since, making small advances toward an overall goal of coming home.. Caring bridge gives us the ability  to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Mike came home Oct . 31st and has been doing well. Doctors say Mike is doing amazing, considering everything he’s endured these past couple months - including his transition home.

Mike is healing well, and as mobile as he can be with some hip restrictions, and is back to his regular self,  verbally and mentally. I thank God every day that things have been so great, and every day has been a jump ahead in progress.. Mike is doing well with his leg, with hopes of soon being fitted for a prosthetic.
