We’ve got some really good news. Yesterday, after all of the testing the last few weeks, Michael was told he does NOT have lymphoma!!! No sign of cancer!  Some time ago, he had the “markers” of Lymphoma, but now he doesn’t. We giving God the glory for this news.

They did say at the biopsy he had dead lymph nodes causing inconclusive results from that. They are sending Michael to a few specialists to see if we can get more answers. They are initially thinking he has sarcoidosis, but this is not the final answer.

We ended up in the ER last night because Michael has been sick with respiratory issues, having heavy nose bleeds, headaches, and extreme fatigue. They did a few scans and found he has two blood clots.  If you remember, his previous clot has a tiny piece that was left after the surgical removal and he’s been on blood thinners ever since. Today, they gave him an extra dose of another blood thinner and sent him home. We hope this will help. He will have another scan in a week or so.

This has been a long journey and we are grateful you have joined us with prayer and encouragement. I end my note today with the words of Edward Mote and Psalm 40:2 “He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.”

“My Hope is Built on Nothing Less”

by Edward Mote, 1797-1874

1. My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand.

2. When darkness veils His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale
My anchor holds within the veil.
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand.

3. His oath, His covenant, and blood
Support me in the whelming flood;
When every earthly prop gives way,
He then is all my Hope and Stay.
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand.

4. When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found,
Clothed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne!
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand.
