Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Mike was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cholangiocarcinoma in August of last year. He was trying two chemo and immunotherapy to try to slow down the two tumors that were found in between his gull bladder and liver. Unfortunately, this route made little impact and then caused him to get Immunotherapy hepatitis along with Jaundice. He did get a stint put in to open up a closed bile duct and was starting to feel a bit better. They found though that there was something now in the lining of his stomach and multiple infarctions in his spleen and kidneys. His cancer causes clotting to happen and his heart is just getting more tired along with his body. Between the pain and tiredness, he has made the decision to be on hospice care. We do not know how much time we have left with him and are asking nothing of you all but only if you have a memory or picture to share please do.
