To Our Dear Family and Friends,

It was one year ago, right around Thanksgiving, when Michael first discovered a lump in his neck, and it seemed that from there, everything in our world turned upside down. But today, my friends, I am happy to report that the results from his PET scan and ultrasound tests show NO TRACE OF CANCER in his body!

As I reflect on this season in our lives, there is no doubt that 2023 was a year of seemingly endless trials and treatments, questions and change, and at times, just downright uncertainty. But one thing has remained certain: God really does love us. He has continued to show His kindness and mercy to us - and He has done it through YOU. Thank you. Not only have we grown closer as a family and in our friendships, but we have started to realize that as we go through our own suffering, we learn to show compassion; as we battle our anxieties and face our fears, we learn to share peace; as we endure pain, we learn to bring comfort and healing.

All of us go through hard stuff in life. Some of you have gone through things much, much harder than what we have this year.  But as we head into Thanksgiving week, I think we all have reason to celebrate. And as we do, let's remember to bless others as we ourselves have been blessed.
