Ice cream celebration... Micah is backpack free!!! He is officially finished with his major frontline treatments and we are over the moon! He is entering into “maintenance” for the next year which means monthly visits for check ups, treatments, and also some oral medications. But no more planned hospital stays and hopefully much less back and forth. This day comes just 2 weeks after the anniversary of Micah’s initial diagnosis. We had no idea a year ago what things would look like for our family today. But if I could’ve seen a glimpse of our joy today a year ago, my heart would’ve felt such relief! Today is a good day. ❤️
