May 21 - afternoon update
June 11 is the day! Melissa will have surgery to remove part of her Colon. It seems that the Dr feels good about getting all of the cancerous tissue with this procedure.
It's going to be a general anesthetic surgery and is going to have 2 specialists attending (the only 2 in Albuquerque for this type of cancer). Afterwards the tissue will be sent for a biopsy to make sure they got it all.
Between now and then, obviously a covid test, quarantine, the "prep" and then setting up the 4 days in Albuquerque. It isn't over but it's a plan.
