It's been awhile since an update... no news is good news!

I had my liver scan last Wednesday. I was a little anxious leading up to it, although I tried to hide it. The scan showed no changes since October, which is a good thing. If the spots we are watching were cancer, we would expect to see some sort of change. With those results, my oncologist approved me getting my port removed! Unfortunately they can't get me in until April 3rd but after having it in for a year, I can wait another month!

I was bummed to find out that my oncologist is moving to Minneapolis, so last week was my last appointment with her. In August, I'll go in for another liver scan and appointment with my new oncologist, Dr Jones. I'm grateful that I was able to have Dr Krie throughout my cancer treatment and she had assured me I'm left in good hands with Dr Jones. We will continue to keep an eye on my liver through bloodwork and scans. 

I'm happy to report that the fecal transplant I had back in November seems to have worked! I've been c-diff free ever since! :) 

It will probably be awhile before another update so just remember that no news is good news!
