Welcome Back.

When I first started this Caring Bridge, my concern was that I wasn't going to be able to keep up with updating the events as they unfold.  Unfortunately, I was correct.

It is with a great and heavy heart that I tell you that Mel passed into Heaven - with a GLORIOUS Alleluia - last week on February 25, 2020.  After having walked into Gulf Coast Hospital the previous Monday, suffering severe blood loss, and subsequent strokes, the Lord took him home.  I was at his bedside when he left his earth, and promised I would take care of the love of his life, my mom Char.

We have had many difficult decisions to make since his passing, but would like to share his joy of life with all who can attend a Celebration of Life in Ft. Myers, Florida, as well as a yet-to-be-determined military send-off at Fort Snelling National Cemetary in St. Paul, MN.  The Celebration will be held Friday 3.6.2020 in the Atrium at Seven Lakes Golf and Tennis Community from 2 to 6 pm.

You can see his announcement on the Neptune Society's website, or by following this link:

Char is doing better than expected, but the loss of Mel is a pain she cannot comprehend.  We plan to bring her back to Minnesota to live, so that we can surround her with love and caring that she so greatly needs and deserves.  I will do my best to update this with arrangements made for Char, in her move and new living location.  We look forward to having her closer to us - to share whatever remaining hours/days/months or years she has remaining.

We would greatly appreciate your love and prayers at this time of mourning.  Feel free to reach out to any of the children should you feel the need to learn more.

Blessings,

Julie
