Journal entry by Jennifer London —
And here we go again. Overall just pissed and angry. Please be angry with me.
I have one in my armpit and lit up like the sun on the PET scan. My doctor wants to get a tissue sample to ensure cancer or type. I will get a core biopsy which is like taking a chunk out of the lymph node. There were also two other suspicious ones near it and one on the liver. Again she won’t say cancer. Although the surgeon said the armpit is.
Then this morning I had a brain MRI. The one that had radiation is stable and then I got a new one. Simple radiation again.
I have been dealing with this stuff since I was 25. First melanoma at that age. Lots of following ups throughout the years. Then got the other ovarian cancer at 32. Hysterectomy. 2019 the ovarian came back, did my chemo. Finish and three months later metastatic melanoma. Simple surgery I’m good. Two years later I start a new job and on the first work day find out it’s back.
I’m as bored of it as you are hearing about it. So be mad with me. I want off this train.
