Katherine’s story:
After an 11 year battle with melanoma, and countless treatments Katherine had a clean bill of health for the past year and a half. Unfortunately, in July of 2020, after separating from her husband she was rediagnosed and this time with stage 4 metastatic melanoma in her lungs.

On February 5th 2021, a mass was found on her ovary and needed  surgery on February 18th on Oahu to remove it. That week after surgery the dr called to tell her it was another melanoma metastasis then a few weeks after surgery, On April 1st 2021, a brain MRI revealed metastases to the brain as well.

While busy raising a 4 year old and managing treatments, she continues to smile and carry a positive outlook and mindset. She manages to find her silliness and laugh despite all her hurdles.

Newest Update

Journal entry by Nichole Marshall

Quick update on Kat. She has been sick for the last two weeks, as well as her mom and Olivia. Thank goodness she tested COVID negative and also ruled out pneumonia. She has been home and trying to rest & get better.

She could really use some love and prayers as it’s been a rough couple weeks of being home and not feeling well.

She could also really use support through bringing them meals. If you have time, please sign up to bring a meal for Kat, her mom, and Olivia & drop off to their place in Kihei. It would be SO helpful and appreciated. They are on a healthy, diabetic friendly diet.

Thank you for all your continued love, support, and prayers. ♥️🙏🏽🌺
