Update on Melanie… The infection is clearing up and Melanie had a visit with her doctor and he feels like she needs some radiation to prevent a few remaining tumors from growing. She will get 6 weeks of radiation (5 days a week) and hopefully get her prosthetic frontal bone put back to protect her brain in September.
She could have some brain swelling and very tired from the radiation. This is a setback we didn’t see coming but hopefully the radiation will prevent and new growth from the remaining tumors. Melanie asks for all the prayers to keep coming her way! She is determined to fight this and come out on the other side with a victory!
