Journal entry by Meghan Kelly —
One year ago today at this time (8:45am as I write), I was probably being rolled into surgery, probably making fun of Dr. G's red crocs (I have the same pair), or already knocked out and on the operating table.
I only remember bits about that morning. But if you need something to do today to commemorate that day with me, I'm listening to same Queen II album that I listened to pump me up presurgery (back when I had stereo hearing). Take a listen at full volume, with your stereo hearing, and yell-sing along for me (my vocal cords haven't bounced back from the last ordeal so I can just talk-sing).
You can cry a little too - I'm also doing a little of that. Grief - what an rollercoaster emotion.
