After Thanksgiving, we got the news that Mary Ann's chemo treatments were not working.  Based on her doctor's recommendation, we set her up with Hospice of the Piedmont.  They provided in-home care for her from December 1st until January 6th when we had to transfer her to a Hospice facility as we could no longer control her pain at home.  This morning, on January 12th around 3AM, she passed away peacefully in her sleep.

Thank you to everyone who followed her on this journey.  She truly appreciated all the people who commented, reached out and prayed for her.  She left us content and at peace with her life.  We all love and miss her.
