May’s Story

Site created on April 26, 2019

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and encouragement.

Season of my life right now is breast cancer which started in February 2019 when I was diagnosed. So much info and so many things to be considered before a final decision was made -Lumpectomy with reconstruction. As we write and share our journey, instead of asking why, we try to think of asking how-how is God using this trial to show Himself to us and especially to others. Through it all, Fritz and I strive to maintain a positive momentum of His goodness. May you be blessed or encouraged.

Journal entry by May Auguste

Today we went for a follow up to the reconstructive doctor. Bad news is that lower part of the stitches is healing very slowly. Good news is that it is not infected so we just needed to be more patient. Additionally, the stitches have been removed so that’s a progress in itself to recovery. We are very thankful for God’s hidden blessings in all of this and for all the support from our families and friends. It would have been harder without it.
