Journal entry by Maya Harvey —
I was diagnosed with lobular Breast Cancer in March of 2021. I found out that I had lobular breast cancer after testing. After listening to doctors I was told that I could have a lumpectomy or mastectomy, but I chose the masectomy because lobular cancer is very tricky and I didn't want the extra risk. I got the masectomy in June of 2021 and found out it was stage 1. Fast forward to now I am taking hormone therapy and I am extremely depressed. I am now unemployed and having alot of nere problems that are making it impossible to function at work. I have so much pain in my arm, and back that I am crying myself to sleep and having a very hard time fighting depression. I am in therapy and really trying to push forward however the bills and regular expenses are adding very quickly and I am feeling like I am at the end of my rope. If you can help please help. Thanks so much
