Journal entry by Chad Krohn —
Good evening everyone. Time has flown by and hard to believe it's been 4 months since Max's accident. Seems like forever ago. Max continues to thrive in school, has 2 quizzes and a test to make up this week to be officially caught up. Kara and I are so proud of the way he's handled the work load and his dedication to his studies. He continues to attack his strength conditioning, speed agility and lacrosse training with an energetic work ethic that's an inspiration to us all.
As the Thanksgiving holiday comes to a close, Kara, Sadie, Max and I are beyond thankful for the many blessings in our lives and so grateful for our Army of supporters. Max isn't where he is today without you and we thank you!
Speaking of Thanksgiving, once again we hosted the Krohns-Jones-Yeager families for 4 days of fun and fellowship. We ate, we laughed, we played countless games, and had a group outing to PuttShack where you know who (Max) took home first place. The kid loves to compete and win!
God is good and He reveals himself in His miracles! Max is on the way back to a normal life of teenager and winning minute by minute!
Additionally, as many know we are connected to three families whose sons have suffered a brain injury. Please continue to uplift Austin Scott, Daniel Evangelista and Hudson Nowak in their recoveries with your prayers. God hears our #Maxstrong Army and these three will survive and thrive!
Love you all!
