Dear Family & Friends--

It seems impossible that my last update was on what would have been Max's 24th birthday. Now we're closing in on Thanksgiving.

I have been writing so much since August but I'm just not doing it here. In September, I decided to embark on a larger writing project. With your support and encouragement, I have started work on a memoir about my experience of losing a child. Oh and there's more too about losing my mother to breast cancer, raising our boys and recovering from breast cancer myself. I have taken my first class through GrubStreet, a Boston Writer's Collaborative. The experience has been profound. I can't wait to share more with you all.

In the last month two new Stone side of the family babies have been born. Jackson Warren Stone (honoring Grampy Warren Stone) and Parker Max Roth (honoring our beloved Max). Our hearts are full and we can't wait to meet our newest family members at Thanksgiving time.

Nate and Sam are thriving in Colorado and the lifts are opening.
